Hayner Original 6 Year Rye Whiskey just won a GOLD medal at the 2022 John Barleycorn Spirits Competition in New York!  GOLD medals are reserved for the best of the best whiskeys in their category.  We are honored to be recognized and excited for you to try another GOLD medal whiskey from Hayner.

DESCRIPTION

Hayner Original 6 Year Rye Whiskey takes the best part of our award winning Hayner Rye Whiskey blend (the 6 year part) and bottles it in a beautiful bottle featuring a vintage Hayner label from 1910.

Hayner shipped their 6 Year Rye Whiskey all over the country in 1910, and now you can relive a bit of that history.  Imagine walking into the distillery on Water Street in 1910, handing the teller $.80 cents, and she slides this bottle across the counter to you.

 

We recreated the 1910 label, almost word for word, and sourced an amazing rich and smooth Rye whiskey that Lewis and William Hayner would be proud to drink. We know you will love it just as much.

TASTING NOTES

Hayner Original 6 Rye Whiskey is a rich and smooth double oaked 6 year Rye whiskey.  After spending 5 years in a new American oak cask, the whiskey was then placed into a brand new American oak cask for the last year.  It is full of rich bold flavors with an incredible smooth finish. To honor our heritage, Hayner Original Rye features an original Hayner label from 1910.​

Hayner Original Rye is our first product to be available online from Seelbach's. You can order directly from their website. (More Hayner products will be available online soon.)

Locally, Hayner Original 6 Year Rye Whiskey is available at 3 state stores and our distillery location at 619 Lincoln Ave, Troy, Ohio  45373.  We are open on Saturdays from 12 - 3 pm. If you cannot  visit during that time, please contact us and we will make arrangements to meet you another time.
